Back to the day job

We’re certainly seeing the light at the end of this tunnel.
With a ‘new normal’ now clearly on the horizon, and so many looking to firm up their kitchen plans, now’s the ideal time to talk kitchen trends. Here’s a flavour of what our eyes are on for 2020:

1. Monochrome
A minimal white, dramatic black or a thoughtful balance between the two. Monochrome kitchens have stood the test of time, and they aren’t going anywhere soon! This colour scheme offers a sleek and elegant design that is at home in any kitchen from a small modern apartment to a big traditional house.

2. Open plan
Now so popular it goes by lots of trendy names, the latest one being a ‘flex tension’! I will never tire of bringing down dividing walls to create one multifunctional space that exceeds all the boundaries of a traditional kitchen. It seems the Great British public agree!

3. Clever storage
Isolation forced us all to rearrange, reorganise and re-evaluate. That’s why we’re predicting a rise in storage demand for kitchens, in particular, discreet solutions that maximise on space. From spice racks on inside doors to concealed small appliance drawers, Pronorm offers a wide range of sleek and intelligent options that will revolutionise your kitchen design.

We’ve all spent the last few weeks in our homes, utilising our kitchens and pondering how they could work better. So, it’s no surprise that the decision to upgrade the kitchen will come sooner for some than expected.
