A large family home that had been refurbished, the kitchen was a large atrium space approx 7m long by 4.5 m wide. The client had a large range cooker and american freezer that they needed the kitchen to work with, and they wanted minimal wall units.

They also wanted a breakfast bar to be focal point for the kitchen and it needed to accommodate 4 people. Create balance as the range cooker and american freezer were both large and chunky in design.
To balance this, we created height with using extra tall wall units. The breakfast bar we designed to be a distinctive feature and focal point. The client initially wanted all curved wood, but the idea evolved to having a stone worktop and adding wooden shelves underneath, still working with a curved design.
