Pronorm kitchen 1 – 0 The Big Guys

Many clients come into our showroom after visiting a few of the big retail park brands. You know the ones, they’ve all over our TV, billboards and on every retail park – pretty hard to miss.

With the paid advertisements, catchy jingles and never-ending sales, you’re forgiven for thinking that they’re the best choice – after all, there can’t be that much difference, surely?

Although the integral parts that make up a kitchen are generic to us all, as the old saying goes, ‘The devil’s in the detail’, and these details are the difference between a showstopping kitchen that lasts a lifetime and a nice kitchen that will be ok for the next few years.

At Pronorm Kitchen Design, every single kitchen we design is made to order, which is something that the ‘big sheds’ can’t offer, because they’re working on mass production. For them, someone’s dream kitchen is just another run on the production line – the outcome is a kitchen covered in dozens of holes to cover every eventuality.

With the ‘big guys’, the design is restricted to working around what they can produce and supply. With us, we create a kitchen based on the room dimensions and what your client requires, and we’re happy for it to be as big and as adventurous as you can envisage. It means we can add all sorts of bespoke lighting, storage and appliance solutions; your options are endless.

We work around the property and all its nooks and quirks, adapting cupboards, units and worktops to create a seamless finish and maximise storage.

To the untrained eye, the finish of a Pronorm Kitchen Design in comparison to a run-of-the-mill kitchen is unmistakable. And to the trained eye, they are worlds away in quality and durability.

With most well-known kitchen retailers, their guarantees are short and full of exceptions to help them deal with mass numbers. For us, we’re confident you or your clients won’t need us again. However, if you do, we’re always here to help, no matter the time frame.
