Client had a fixed brief and was looking for specific colours and a specific wood finish. He liked the Pronorm furniture.
The design needed to be reworked and improved to create balance and symmetry. The two wall units had to be symmetrical to determine the layout of the bottom section (which included a hob unit). We also needed to integrate a full set of high spec Miele appliances including the new hob with integrated down draft induction.
What we did
The design was pivotal to the kitchen working. Everything had a position and a reason for why it was like that. We added on an extra area with a sideboard to link the living area with the kitchen.
Units: Y-Line – Colour: Crystal
Island Colour: Sherwood medium brown
Worktops: Caesar Stone in colour Misty Carara
Satin glass finish behind the hob and sideboard area – etch glass splashback in Silver
Flooring: large format tiles
