We’re not lying. When we heard we had to ‘shut up shop’ a few weeks ago, we felt pretty unnerved.
Mostly, we were concerned it would be misinterpreted as ‘halt all business’.
But after a day or two, we were almost looking forward to this new ‘downtime’ we were going to find ourselves with! Most of the team had started making a list of things to get done around the house, and after chatting to friends and family, we know that everyone’s the same.
However, our own home improvements have had to take a backseat because three weeks in, the emails are busier than ever.
With a heap of design work to get through, it is clear that staying at home isn’t ‘downtime’ – it’s ‘do it differently time’.
That’s because we aren’t alone with being stuck at home. Everyone’s at home; they’re touching the walls up, hanging shelves, spring cleaning.
They’re being forced to look at every room in the house, and they’re realising that they’ve been making do for far too long.
Not only are people looking around their homes and deciding it’s time for a change, they’ve also got the time to put a plan into action. This includes a mass market of people who may never have had the time, had we not found ourselves in this strange predicament.
And that is why now is the perfect time to chat
This lockdown isn’t a setback. It’s a huge window of opportunity.
You see we’ve meant to reach out for a while, but we’ve been busy, and we know you have too. So now, whilst we finally have the time, we’d love to have that chat and discuss plans you may have.
Why not be first in the queue, designs and plans at the ready so that we can hit the ground running when we get the green light to open our doors again?
